World Music, Dylan, Blue Grass, Leonard Cohen...and loads more. Recent concerts have been The Be Good Tanyas, Dylan whenever he comes over here. Music and Food......the gateways to other cultures.

Low key at the moment but active, dog walking and cycling. In an Ideal world would like to be eating lunch in a pub with friends after a long walk, with the dogs; just food I never drink alchohol at lunch time!

Well never thought I’d be doing this but here goes! I am 59, retired, recently legally separated and relocated in the West Country. I’m definitely a survivor, believing that out of most bad things some good can be uncovered, (oh please let this be the case!) Life continues to surprise me, but still I have great curiosity for it. I relish learning new skills and think of myself as very creative. I love art, film, reading and have a passion for the kitchen, cooking with friends and family. I feel strongly about environmental issues and try to live with a frugal footprint. A lot of my day is spent walking and cycling with my dog who goes nearly everywhere with me. The music of great artists such as Leonard Cohen, Bob Dylan, Lucinda Williams, Be Good Tanyas and an assortment of World Music gives me great solace in my times of need. The coasts of Cornwall, the Moors in Devon, rivers, canals and the countryside feed me. I have great hunger for these things. I guess what I’m trying to say is that over time I’ve learned the things in life costing very little give the greatest joy and have the highest value. I hope to find a partner for the last dance, someone who enjoys similar pleasures, who is tolerant, loyal and loving. I’d like the dance to be long and slow, a waltz on a summer beach……. an amazing sunset and an evening full of promise.
