Wide tastes: I love (late) John Coltrane and (electric) Miles Davis; I love early music; I'm a big fan of Tom Waits, Nick Cave and Tim Buckley; I enjoy contemporary composers like Phillip Glass and Steve Reich; I also enjoy extreme heavy metal, neofolk and electronic music.

My average weekend..

Usually involves at least one day spent with my two boys, going on outings to museum, lunch and then back in time for Doctor Who. Other days when I don;t see them will be spent catching up on everything I was too busy to do during the week.

I would also like to say..

I'm not desperately lonely but I am aware that there is a big hole in my life and I'm trying to do something about it. I'm not really sure what I'm looking for: nothing is ruled out though to be honest I'm fairly certain that I'm not going to start another family. I'm not particularly wealthy, though I am conceited enough to think that I'm reasonably interesting, not totally hideous and can usually manage to eat in a restaurant without slopping the sause down my shirt.
