"Being auburn an issue ?"
Dear Lynn,

I'm a 27 yeard old guy, not bad looking, nice funny personality and I have auburn hair which seems to be something that turns girls off me. Is it that girls just hate it that much???

I am aware that some people male and female are turned off by red heads, however, I am also aware that some people are also turned off by people that are short, tall, overweight, underweight, blonde, brunette!!. The right person is out there, it’s just a case of finding her. Good luck

Hair colour should not matter when it comes to relationships, but i have just shaved my head for breast cancer, will that make a difference to me???

Well I guess the obvious soulution would be to dye it but only if it bothers you to a great degree.Personally,I think you should be proud and look in the mirror and say 'This is who I am and I'm proud if it doesen't suit some people they are not worth it but I am'.Red/Auburn hair is different, but different in a good way,if truth be known alot of people are just jealous, rise above it...you are worth more.

Being a red head myself...I am wondering if sometimes the 'issue' is a wellknow fact that us red heads go 'red' in the sun so we are never one of those 'tanned' people who strut the beach...until..I found how useful a un bed is...not saying you should spend 24/7 on one..just start using one now...sensibly..then by summer you will be a nice shad of golden...also there is no harm in you putting a couour thru your hair to tone it a little.....rest assured if the right person is out there, its personality that counts...and because we are 'red heads' we have developed the best personalities.....

Well, if you pardon the expression, it's horses for courses. I find red-headed women amazingly attractive, so I'm sure there are women out there who find "auburn" men the same.

Actually, if there any red-headed women out there reading this, please do drop me a line!

It has taken me a while, but if they can't like you for you, then they are not worth it

Don't even think of it... Maybe you feel negative about your hair thats coming across to them. I have nephews that have auburn hair and great personalities, who have always got ladies after them.... let your personality come out and have fun.... that means far more to women than the colour of your hair.

I know the stigma to with people with red hair,i myself never used to be attracted to red but about 3years ago i met a guy who had auburn hair, and he had the most gorgeous blue eyes, really attractive and funny to,we went out together for about 2years then broke up,after he two timed me,he was quite a stud actually,so i know there are alot of women out there who would love to date a guy like you...there was for him.
