"He wouldn't leave his drunk wife"
Dear Lynn,

I fell in love with a man who was living with a partner, she was an alcoholic, who abused him .he said he loved me,and was going to live with me,3 week before xmas he dumped me without a word. I feel hurt and angry, and want to tell her about the affair, and let him suffer the consequences.do you think i should ?

Hello. I can totally understand how you feel and it’s perfectly normal to feel this way. As you’ve said your hurt and angry and what to lash out at what is causing you this pain, but honestly, what good do you think will come of you telling her? It may cause him some aggravation for a while, but it will cause a great deal of hurt and upset for his partner who hasn’t actually done anything wrong as well as the potential to cause yourself a lot more grief. You know what women are like when they are scorned, (your feeling the rage yourself right now) do you really want a drunken scorned woman turning up on your door? You don’t know what she is capable of or her state of mind if she has a drink problem, so in answer to your question, NO I don’t think you should tell her. This isn’t to save his feelings it’s to save yours. The sooner you put him behind you and move on with your life the better. The more ciaos that is caused the longer it will take to move on. Forget him, you can do better. He is already suffering the consequences as he is now living in a relationship with an alcoholic woman who abuses him. His loss, not yours!!

The majority of men/cheaters will give you a load of excuses to make you feel sorry for them.....do you know his partner? have you met her? do you know for a fact that shes an alcoholic?

You deserve better than second best and being with a man that is not truely yours is settling for second best.

someone who is not prepared to give you everything is not worth the emotional hassle, too many men will try to have their cake and eat it, with seconds on the side,

you should want to be with someone who will treat you with respect, as much as you are hurt by this man, there are plenty more fish in the sea, leave him to stew in his own juices and move on, you will find someone special.....

diamonds have to be dug for ..... good luck x x

Even though you cant help who you fall in love with,i think you were wrong for seeing this man knowing he was with someone else in the first place, even though of the circumstances he was in,and really who is to say he was telling the truth..dont mean to sound harsh but he didnt choose to be with you in the end whatever his reasons were of staying with his partner and even though the anger and hurt you are feeling right now dont let your emotions boil over through what has happened ,you will be just hurting yourself, meet someone else, theres loads of other men who will capture your heart too.goodluck

Forget him, you will only hurt and torment yourself by persuing it. You are worth far more... it is his loss, let him get on with it. Good luck
