Dear Lynn,

I seem to have a problem forming relationships with the opposite sex.. I just don't know what to say to them. I find chat-up lines cheesy and can't come up with a decent engaging conversation with them, I stumble with my words and generally feel a prat.

Hello, a lot of the problems with people finding it difficult to talk to the opposite sex is confidence. If you feel confident you will come across that way. If you’re speaking to someone online find out what their likes and dislikes are and remember them. That way should you ever meet for a date, you already have a list of topics that you can bring up that you know they like. Remember it’s not always you that has to do all the talking, let the other person ask you questions too. Ask about types of music, family, pets, jobs, hobbies, general things. Try not to stress about it as the more you worry the worse you will feel. Good luck

Women/Ladies/Girls, Should also make the first move sometimes, as sometimes the guy"s,Men, get shy around the females.

Never feel a prat! They are all greasy and spread diseases.

I was so like you once. Yet found myself most engaging when relationships, sex or getting a g/f was not on my mind!

Now I have no mind I'm popular!
