It is at last sunny again! Work is busy still (that's because I have spent too long sitting with a chilled drink in the sun!). Working your own hours has it's perks!! Had a crap time working out all the finances with a pending divorce...why is it so drawn out and ugly?!! At least the sun is shining and it makes me feel good!!!! The dresses and shorts come out for there annual couple of days a year!! Going to mow the lawn now!!

It feels so much nicer when the sun is shining! We have had some good days this holiday, so managed to get out to a couple of places...Dunorlan Park in Tunbridge Wells is a great afternoon out. Back to school next week...I' love my children very, very much but I am looking forward to the peace of quiet! My daughter's 8th birthday this weekend! Looking forward to yet more birthday cake. Bit scary they are all getting older now, but it is nice that they are all developing their lovely personalities (okay..mum thinks they are lovely!).

Went to Rye in Sussex and had a fantastic time there. It is a really nice place. Went with a friend I love and really enjoyed it. It is close to the beach and also has a lovely cobble stone high street of different shops and restaurants. It was very refreshing to get out and remember how beautiful life can be. My children really enjoyed seeing their dad, so came home full of happy spirits. Excellent weekend!

It snowed in Kent yesterday too! There was a few inches from the morning and melted during the afternon. My kids absolutely loved it. it meant pelting their uncle with snowballs..they didn't like getting the snow back at them though! Soaking coats dripped everywhere and i was walking on cold soggy carpet..humm bring on the summer weather..Working hard today! Children off school for there holidays here, so also part-time referee! Will probably have to find something fun to wear them out!

It is my youngest son's birthday and he is seven today. It is very hard being part of a disected family when it is all new to you. Having to make sure you are behaving in front of the children and sharing them and your ideas properly is interesting although not too much of a problem so far! Sharing the occasion is lovely, but it does feel harsh knowing he has gone off to the other side of the family for the weekend and enjoying it without me(selfish I know). It was lovely seeing him all excited this morning though. My other two children were slightly jealous but I know they love birthdays and the excitement. I like the cake.... Us girls don't get to stuff ourselves without a good reason to cover the guilt!!! Like seeing some of the diaries you all write.
