Just came back from visiting a friend up in York. Long time
since I've seen the place. Thankfully it's still retained
it's character although it's a little overrun by tourists.

Great city - not too large and enough to do to keep everyone occupied (avoid the viking centre though).

Some great places to eat and drink (who me....!) . Got over to
see my old hunting ground at the Uni - plenty of money being
spent there but it's still largely the same.

If you enjoy cocktails make your way to the "evil eye lounge" they serve a huge range - plenty of non-alcoholic ones as well.

Another good run this Sunday. 6 miles again although
it was hot!!! That's 3 in a row.

Never mind it's all worth it I'm told... not sure if that's
true!

Could not even reward myself as I had no wine at home
:(

Sunday's are rapidly becoming a bit too busy for me these days..

Topped it off we a nice run - really thought it would a struggle but in an expected twist it was great!

About 1 in 3 times when I run some nice "person" feels the need to wind their window down and shout something. Of course I can never tell what they have said but I assume it's something encouraging :) Comments?

I've out running again... lovely weather
but hard work up and down the hills.

I left it till 6.00pm hoping it would be a bit cooler - that
didn't work out - I think it was about 25 degrees!

It did give me a chance to get out on the bike before
then - great stuff.

Cross fingers that the summer continues like this :)

Managed to get out this evening and listen to a couple
of live acts. Susie Clarke was the main draw and
was very good...
