Am enjoying & experiecing life in Bolivia. So much to see & learn! The people are so friendly & enjoy life despite the obvious poverty & unemployment of over 60%. Makes me appreciate life in Britain!
So far have seen & loved the culture, seen parrots, a sloth & a rhea (emu) in somebodys garden! Having a fantastic time! Visited a market yesterday which was an incredible sight so much colour & variety- what you couldnīt buy was nobodys business! Off to Santa Cruz for more experiences! Chat later. x |

See my ditty below!
With my head held up high,
I took the news & did not cry
My job was gone, kaput, no more...
with the writing on the door!
But as one closes, another one opens..
A new position is the token.
Copy Executive sounds real cool,
Not just a job for any old fool.
So, fingers crossed & all that goes,
Have even tried crossing my toes!
Interview-Monday, we will see
Exactly what's in store for me!!
Got a job-caring-if all else fails,
Or could reach for the kitchen scales
so to bake my delicious wares
To sell at the market or local fairs.
You see, I have a few options looming
So what is the point of glooming.
Thanks to the wonderful women of CLEM
Who have made me, so grateful to them.
With their dire lives they keep so cheerful,
Of their futures they are not fearful.
Being motivated & positive
Is the key to how they live.
Today both managers were unaware,
That on, I had, my best underwear.
Although they delivered to me the bad news
I felt my best & had positive views!!!
My lawns not mown, my strimmer's bust!
So a new one is a must.
I will use the scissors for now,
or maybe I could hire a cow.
See attached mode of transport in Montero, Bolivia!!
