Well its back to work on Monday for me - took the children to butterfly and nature park today. it was a wonderful day. Eagles and owls flying inched from your head - butterfly perching on heads - lovely tea room. A very pleasant afternoon.

Had some news today that makes the day a little less sweet. A friend has cancer, 6 months max. There is nothing I can do, not for her or her family - except just be there. There is so much we can control if we wish too, but the one thing we can not is what choices others make. In some way we can choose when to die, but we can not make someone want to live - although, their decisions can make you face up to your own choices. Life is what it is... too short, a journey, a bitch....it is what you make of it; what you choose it to be. For me? well, I am happy single, I don't need a fella - but I would like to be with someone, part of a couple. I won't get that sitting in watching TV, reading a book, washing dishes or picking up after the kids. So my choice is.... to get out of my security bubble, pop the damn thing, and take some risks. only small risks of course!!!!!! So anyone want a date?
