I've seen more than enough snow in the past few weeks while I've been working in Germany so can't say it excites me a great deal.
The freezing cold, the black ice and all the road accidents are not my idea of fun, nor are all the viruses going round just now, been feeling rough the last couple of days.
So tomorrow I'm heading for Mauritius for three weeks with my friend Brenda, really looking forward to chilling out in a warm place.
Only downside to the hotel is that they have no internet but I can probably live with that!

Today I heard that a very good friend had died, incidently he was on this site as 'Puffinbell'. Although he lived up north we have kept in touch for years and he was always there for me when I needed to talk, a true friend who will be missed more than words can say.
I spoke to him just before xmas and he was suffering from this virus going round, lifes pretty unfair at times. He was only 62.
Heres to Colin, one of the brightest stars in the sky, hope they have red wine up there mate. Will always treasure the friendship we had. Moni xx

Got home last night and have spent the day repacking my case. Doesn't seem such a good idea now to work new year, have to meet the coach at 02.00, so no sleep again!!
Still this is my last tour for a while, when I get back on the 2nd Jan I've only got a couple of days before my holiday. Had enough of snow now, pretty as it is, its time to spend a few weeks in the sunshine. Can't wait.

Hi everyone, hope you´ve all had a great time. I have the most fantastic group of people on my coach, best xmas I´ve had in a long time!! Hotel has a great atmoshere, and the drink is flowing freely!! Today we´re out on a tour along the river Rhine to Rudesheim, another party night and then its the homeward journey. Moni xx

So once again my case is packed, leaving for Germany at 03.30 on yet another coach tour. I'd hate to be on my own at xmas so at least I'll be spending it with 49 other people. Got a strange hotel in a tiny village in the Eiffel mountains, have been there before and the owner simply refuses to let me pay for any drinks, how shocking is that!!
Saw the grand-daughters yesterday which was really nice, and then nipped out to buy some xmas crackers to take with me cos they don't have them in Germany.
This afternoon I had to go to the dentist, which means I've already spent the money I'll be earning, but hey I just don't do toothache!!
