Ooooooooo the excitement is more than a lad can bare, one more day of toil and then we have THE WEEKEND and THE PARTAY, no worries of drinkink ant drivink, just a wobble back to a cosy hotel room to indulge in a splash of genuine froggy champers and a chocolate or ten MMmmmmm, you gotta love at xmas. Oh it will be such a treat to see the dear gals of this fair site all decked out in their finery and blinged to the maximum, there's nothing better than to admire ladies even from afar, Mmm I think I'm rambling, see you soon.

I,ve been a tad busy of late trying to purchase a car and figure out cheapo insurance with zero no claims bullsh*t, then the next thing is a computer,so I don't have to keep borrowing one (a laptop I think) and after that a place to call my own so that my daughter and son in law can get back to some kind of normallity.
Have I mentioned that I'm looking forward to THE PARTAY, going armed as I am with Champagne and nibles!!!!!!!!

Yesterday I had to rush over to my 10 year old grandaughters school to watch her play in her first ever netball match against another school.

This young girl has been plagued with asthma and was often in hospital as a toddler, so now although still using an inhaler she can play for her school...........very cool.

Well the opposition turn up and by comparrison they are all strapping giants, this is looking like a major disappointment about to take place.

Eventually after much ado about zilcho a game commences...........low and behold first blood to us yayyyyy. the enemy makes a break but miss and we zoom back up the field to score again. When ends are changed splendid little grandaughter scores and I thought I may be ejected for excess exuberance.

As luck would have it the gigantic visiting team had seemingly out grown their coordination, there were long arms and long legs flailing in all directions but to no avail and the final score was 10-4 to us whooopee.

A quiet weekend this weekend. As my home work for my little cooking class I hunted down the ingredients for dinner and dragged it back to base camp.

The hunting and stalking and return to camp of the elusive ingredients took about one and a half hours.

The preparation and cooking of seasonal vegetable soup, bolognese sauce from fresh ingredients, over brown fusilli pasta and making apple and blackberry crumble from scratch, this took in the region of two hours.

The consumption of dinner took about one hour including fresh German coffee made in a cafetiere(is there any other way really?)

After that the digging out of the kitchen and washing up,. also about one and a half hours.

So after all that the obvious conclusion to be drawn is f@@k it I'm ordering take away next time.
