A bit...

... my brother has been over to stay from Holland (he works for Fokker out there) and that's been fun. He goes back on Friday. My daughter has finally got herself a land line (woohoo) and the weather has been appalling - thunder & lightning, torrential rain, the lot here today!
Sorry to everyone that has emailed me - my membership expired on 31/08/2008 and any that I rec'd that day or since, I haven't been able to answer :(

Have an interview tomorrow for a new job - same company, different area. I am rubbish at interviews, so not too hopeful. I'm all composed before I go in there, then as soon as they start asking me questions, I go to pieces and start uttering what must sound like total gibberish!
Would welcome any positive advice lol

Does anyone know when kids stop growing for sure? My grandson came to stay with me last week - he's shot up to 5'11" since I last saw him, and he's only 15! Built like a pipe cleaner tho', and could eat for England!

Afghanistan

My son is serving in Afghan right now - and although he is in the Household Cavalry, and rode in Queen's Golden jubilee, am I the only one who thinks it is obscene to focus on the ceremonial, rather than the active?
