I would also like to say..
My idea of a perfect date? That would be where the first time you realised what the time was was when the owner of the establishment you met in turned the lights out, or came over and said 'Come on, you two. Haven't you got homes to go to?' and you realise you're the last couple to leave. There's lots of other great ways to spend a date but that's always a good start.
I'm really not a dinner party person so I'd pass on the 6 famous people soirée. I'd swap that for a meal somewhere nice with my lady, and the Oscar Peterson trio playing in the corner.
What makes me happy? Heatwaves, and driving with the top down, and good music, or a good book (well, not when I'm driving...)
What makes me sad? Hmmm - the state of the world? the price of petrol? Not much really. I'm pretty cheerful most of the time.
I have plenty of other things to say, but that's for your ears only, until they turn the lights out....
